Accessible Training

Our student-centered approach

Our content breaks information into manageable pieces, making it easier for trainees to retain and apply the knowledge they have learned.

Our training methods allow trainees to gain hands-on experience in a safe and controlled environment, tailored to modern day learning styles.

Our approach gives members the resources to provide exceptional airfield training.

Our content is created by aviation veterans, designed with a "student first" approach. Our philosophy encourages quality and quantity at an affordable price.

Why WigWag Training?

The idea behind WigWag Training came from a simple realization: essential skills training for high-risk or equipment-heavy environments is often outdated, inconsistent, or hard to access. Our team, composed of professionals from airport operations, safety, and digital learning backgrounds, saw an opportunity to change that.

We created WigWag Training to bridge the gap between traditional training and modern learning tools. With a mix of video-based modules, quizzes, virtual 360° tours, and voiceover content, we help organizations deliver training that’s not just box-checking, but impactful and memorable.

What we Offer

  • Micro Learning

WigWag Training brings state of the art microlearning practices to the table. With the use of short form videos, airfield training can be made more accessible and easy to digest.

  • Equipment Virtual Tours

Equipment virtual tours provide the best experience to learn about airfield equipment in a classroom setting.

  • Resources

Each specific airfield training module includes knowledge exams, notes and information.

Our Mission

To empower teams with the knowledge, confidence, and certifications they need to succeed, whether they’re operating equipment on the apron, performing routine maintenance, or preparing for compliance audits.

Online content allows for easy coordination between crews, eliminating the need for live training sessions that can be costly and time-consuming. Simulated driver training and 3D equipment tours provide the best experience to learn the airfield without wasting fuel. These types of training methods allow trainees to gain hands-on experience in a safe and controlled environment.

Quizzes and notes are also an important aspect of airfield training. They help trainees to learn and retain important information. Quizzes can be used to test knowledge and identify areas where additional training may be needed. Notes can be used to summarize key points and provide a quick reference guide for trainees.

In conclusion, airfield training is essential for maintaining safe operations and preventing accidents on airport runways. By using short form videos, online content, simulated driver training, 3D equipment tours, quizzes, and notes, trainees can gain the knowledge and experience they need to perform their duties safely and effectively.

Leveraging Technology to Innovate Training

WigWag Training aims to use simple solutions to tackle complex problems. We want to push the envelope in aviation training. Together, we can move the industry forward.

How it Works

Using a combination of different apps and PC peripherals, we have configured Microsoft Flight Simulator to serve as a platform for airfield navigation and communications practice. In line with our cost friendly, high-quality philosophy, this setup emulates real airfield conditions and allows students to get comfortable speaking on the radio without disrupting ATC or daily airport operations.

  • Airside Navigation

Experience the airfield and its signs, markings, hazards and details without stepping foot into a real vehicle

  • Communication Practice

Build confidence talking over the radio before driving airside and familiarize yourself with the pace and expectations of ATC.

  • Unlimited Practice, Risk Free

Practice makes perfect -- practice as often as needed without spending money on fuel and instructors.
